Welcome to the Kington St Michael CE School Website
The
children, staff and governors welcome you to the Kington St Michael
CE Primary School website. Kington St Michael School is a voluntarily
controlled Church of England primary school for children
who are Foundation Stage 2 (formally known as Reception), Key Stage
1 and Key Stage 2.
Our
school is located on the outskirts of the market town of Chippenham,
Wiltshire. There are 107
children on role, drawn from the parish of Kington St Michael and
the housing development of
Cepen Park North in Chippenham; children living in other parts of
Chippenham and other villages
in the surrounding areas also attend the school.
| At
Kington St Michael CE School we aim to provide a safe, happy
and caring environment in which learning can take place and
where each child is valued as an individual and problems can
be shared and successes and endeavours celebrated enabling each
child to reach their own potential without fear of failure. |

OFSTED
CELEBRATION
Having achieved such a good report from our Ofsted inspection,
we were then judged as ‘outstanding’ in our church
School inspection. We had a lovely three days with James York
Moore at the end of last term and the children thoroughly
enjoyed creating some wonderful artwork.

KS2 PERFORMANCE
The children in Eagles and Hawks will soon begin auditions
and rehearsals for their production – this year ‘The
Wind in the Willows’. Every child will be involved and
we shall be putting on two performances in the Hall (with
our new staging!) so as to accommodate all parents wishing
to attend.
